Background
Crafted from one of Kakheti’s most distinguished red grape varieties, this wine embodies the rich character of Saperavi - brimming with aromas of red and black berries. Medium-bodied and lively, it offers a vibrant expression of Georgia’s signature red.
Terroir
Saperavi grapes are cultivated in distinct plots across Tsinandali’s south-east-facing vineyards, nestled 600-700 meters above sea level. Surrounded by oak forest, these slopes feature well-drained clay-limestone soils that perfectly express the character of each variety within the Tsinandali PDO.
Viticulture
Our philosophy begins in the vineyard, where we believe exceptional wine is born in harmony between vine and terroir. Every detail matters - from the earthworms enriching the soil to the thoughtful care behind each vineyard practice. Through cover cropping and sustainable methods such as pest mating disruption, we nurture a balanced ecosystem where nature and the vine thrive together.

Vinificatio
Carefully hand-selected grape clusters were destemmed and gently crushed before starting fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The must remained in full contact with the skins for two weeks at 24°C, allowing deep colour and rich varietal character to develop. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was separated from the pomace, resting through the winter to refine naturally. By the following spring, it was bottled - capturing the freshness, purity, and authentic expression of the vintage.

Tasting Note and Pairing
This wine reveals its varietal charm through vibrant aromas of wild berries, blueberry, raspberry, and ripe cherry. On the palate, it is silky and refined, with velvety tannins, balanced acidity, and a graceful medium body. Pairs well with hearty, grilled, and roasted meats, spicy dishes, aged hard cheeses, etc.
