Background
Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, this is a full-bodied Saperavi with excellent ageing potential.
Terroir
Saperavi grapes are cultivated in distinct plots across Tsinandali’s south-east-facing vineyards, nestled 600-700 meters above sea level. Surrounded by oak forest, these slopes feature well-drained clay-limestone soils that perfectly express the character of each variety within the Tsinandali PDO.
Viticulture
Our philosophy begins in the vineyard, where we believe exceptional wine is born in harmony between vine and terroir. Every detail matters - from the earthworms enriching the soil to the thoughtful care behind each vineyard practice. Through cover cropping and sustainable methods such as pest mating disruption, we nurture a balanced ecosystem where nature and the vine thrive together.

Vinification
Grapes selected for the Reserve are harvested and processed with exceptional care. Fully ripe Saperavi undergoes fermentation with skins in stainless steel tanks at 25-26°C for two to three weeks, ensuring optimal extraction of colour, structure, and aroma. After fermentation, the wine proceeds to its ageing phase in Burgundy oak barrels, where it develops further depth, complexity, and refinement.
