Background

Inspired by a poem by Galaktion Tabidze and a beautiful legend associated with it, Natella is a unique blend exclusively produced by Tsinandali Estate.

Terroir

Kisi, Khikhvi, Mtsvane, Tsolikouri, and Tetra grapes are cultivated in distinct plots across Tsinandali’s south-east-facing vineyards, nestled 600-700 meters above sea level. Surrounded by oak forest, these slopes feature well-drained clay-limestone soils that perfectly express the character of each variety within the Tsinandali PDO.

Viticulture

Our philosophy begins in the vineyard, where we believe exceptional wine is born in harmony between vine and terroir. Every detail matters - from the earthworms enriching the soil to the thoughtful care behind each vineyard practice. Through cover cropping and sustainable methods such as pest mating disruption, we nurture a balanced ecosystem where nature and the vine thrive together.

Vinification

Juice from all five carefully selected grape varieties was collected in stainless steel tanks, where fermentation unfolded over several days at a controlled temperature of 13-14 °C. After fermentation was complete, the young wine rested with its lees for two months, gaining depth, texture, and subtle complexity.

Bright aromas of apple and sweet citrus unfold on the nose, leading to a lively palate where vibrant fruits meet a touch of refreshing acidity. A perfect companion to white Meat, Fish, Seafood, Salads, etc.
