Background

As part of its 200-year-old winemaking traditions, the Tsinandali wine cellar also operates a distillery, crafting exceptional Saperavi and Rkatsiteli chacha, as well as fruit double spirits. Using state-of-the-art Barison Italian distilling equipment, every spirit achieves the highest standards of quality, flavour, and purity.

 

Destillation

Around the vineyards, fruit trees thrive, providing the harvest for our distillates, complemented by carefully selected fruit sourced from local growers. Stone fruits are pitted, then the entire mass is gently mashed and fermented. The fermented fruit is distilled in copper stills, a method that preserves the pure varietal aromas, yielding a spirit of exceptional clarity and finesse.
